I'm so sorry that you have been fucked around in the UK, I also apologise on behalf of that prick that called you "American Dave" all night. Another invited a woman here from there, she got deported as didn't have the right visa, he moved there, they got married and a USA permit, but now he's moved back she's married to him and still getting trouble moving back to the UK. No sense at all and depends how good people are at bending the rules as well. Holy shit! So sorry to hear they screwed up your work visa and you and Rin having to pack your bags. What a bitch. I hope we get to see you both at least a couple of times before you leave - starting with dinner at the Treadwell's this Saturday? See you then squire and hang in there. Romanian money laundering? Your story is painful to hear and no doubt all your friends will sorely miss ya. It's a shame this ain't hollywood and has a happier ending. Saying that the future could hold some more interesting things! I say keep the hope up for a brighter future even though it won't involve sipping a delightful beverage at the pub. Next round on me :) Dave, friend, drinking buddy and fellow geek. Your story is painful to hear and no doubt all your friends will sorely miss ya. Having been through a vaguely similar disastrous transatlantic move attempt I have every sympathy. Just want to say that you WILL be able to pick up the pieces although it might not seem like it now - a man with your talent won't be unemployed for too long. I hope we can meet up and get completely battered at least once before you ship out. And you were one of the very few things that made the shithole tolerable so thanks for that. Hang in there dude, it'll all work out in the end... Dude, that fucking sucks. Having been through a vaguely similar disastrous transatlantic move attempt I have every sympathy.
